Our goal is to provide the best possible experience for as many customers as possible.

Since the Stay at Home orders have been in place Hilltop's network has seen up to 40% increase in data use.  This unexpected and sudden increase has kept us busy as we upgrade systems and add capacity across our network.  We are working hard to keep our network reliable and with sufficient capacity to meet everyone's needs.

 

Data prioritization is one way we accomplish this, especially at times and locations with network congestion. Our policy is also in line with common industry standards for network management, which are designed to optimize network performance and service.

 

Every wireless provider maintains policies that govern network traffic management because there is a fixed amount of network capacity available at each cell tower.
